Ron Gastronaut
Ron at 68 has just been told he needs an ostomy because of colorectal cancer. He will be meeting the consutant soon to see what this will entail.
Ron is due to have a Stoma.
Ruth Gastronaut
Ruth, an ostomate of many years who has just retired from nursing.
She had her ostomy 20 years ago and has seen a lot of changes.
She will be looking after Ron while he has the operation and afterwards.

Simon Gastronaut
Simon is the youngest gastronaut.
He has a heart of gold and mother nature is his friend. He rejoices in the world and especially all the animals around him.

Sally Gastronaut
Sally is the oldest gastronaut, yet she is clever beyond her years.
She uses her brain to solve a myriad of problems.
Sally has a Stoma.
Lucy Gastronaut
Lucy is athletic and keeps the others on their toes.
She is very interested in diet and jumping!.
Lucy has a Stoma.
Max Gastronaut
Max is the tallest Gastronaut.
He is the protector but although he is strong and bold, he prefers to use words to explain problems away.
Max has a Stoma.
Tamara Gastronaut
Tamara is a new ostomate
She has an internal pouch and loves the younger Gastronauts.
She is very serious and likes studying at school and loves clothes and likes to wear different ribbons in her hair everyday.
Tamara has an internal pouch.
Dr Russell
Dr Russell (Call me Rusty) Chartwell is a well known Paediatric Bellybuttonologist.
He loves children and spends time getting to know his small patients. He is on hand to advise all his patients and comfort the parents, although he can be a little flirtatious around the mums!!!
Stoma Nurse Sue
Sue is always on hand to help and advise you, no matter how small the problem, just call her if you are worried or concerned.
Sue has two outfits her nurses uniform and her denim dungarees when off duty
Sue does not have a Stoma.
Sgt BJ Stoma
Sgt BJ Stoma was injured in combat and suffered abdominal injuries resulting in him having to have major bowel surgery.
Sgt BJ Stoma does have a Stoma. Available after 21st June.
Sgt William VB Stoma.
Sgt William VB Stoma was injured in combat and suffered abdominal injuries resulting in him having to have major bowel surgery.
