HRH The Duke of Kent presents pioneering healthcare company with prestigious Queens Award for improving patients “quality of life”
Trio Healthcare Buckinghamshire-based ostomy care specialist received the royal seal of approval, when the Duke of Kent presented them with the prestigious Queen’s Award for Innovation, yesterday 4th December.
Trio were presented with the Queen’s Award for Innovation by The Duke of Kent, for developing a life-changing silicone adhesive that prevents abdominal stomas from leaking.
Managing Director at Trio, Lloyd Pearce was presented with the prestigious award at Trio’s headquarters in Buckinghamshire. His Royal Highness also discussed Trio’s pioneering technology with Managing Director, Lloyd Pearce and spoke with ostomates, whose lives have been transformed thanks to Trio’s revolutionary work.
The Duke of Kent said: “I am delighted to be in Buckinghamshire to present Trio Healthcare with the Queens Award for Innovation. Their dedication to healthcare innovation is improving the lives of ostomates everywhere – they are very worthy winners.”
