RADAR key scheme: access to toilets for disabled people
There are about 9000 public toilets around the country for use by people with a disability. They are usually kept locked to stop misuse and damage. The National Key Scheme offers disabled people independent access to these toilets by using a special key.
It is called the RADAR scheme because Disability Rights UK was previously called the Royal Association for Disability Rights.
