The Good Digestion Show Moves Dates to Run Alongside International Initiative

Following discussions with the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders based in the US about their International IBS Awareness Month, the organisers of The Good Digestion Show are supporting their initiative by re-scheduling the exhibition to coincide with this.

This means that instead of running The Good Digestion Show in June of this year, it will be held in April 2012.

The IBS Awareness Month is devoted to promoting the health concerns around Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). This awareness is essential to furthering support of research and improved care.

Said Exhibition Director, Caroline Bramwell: “As this is a fundamental core message of The Good Digestion Show, we are excited that the event will now run alongside the IFFGD’s campaign, to raise awareness in the UK. It will also provide the opportunity to enlighten the public about the difference between having IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and having an IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease). So often these two areas are confused or misdiagnosed, and is an extremely important message to get across.”

The show will now also incorporate a strong conference as well as seminar speakers and live demonstration kitchen. The show maintains the full support of TV broadcaster, writer and nutritionist, Amanda Hamilton, who will host the event.
